Hypnotherapy Success Results: Hypnosis success continues to prevail in scientific research studies.
It has been nearly 20 years ago that my personal success began with hypnosis. In fact, my results were so incredible, that it led me to receive my training and certification as a Certified Consulting Hypnotherapist. I continue to practice within the scope of my professional expertise that I am grateful to have learned from the National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc. Today my professional practice is a science based approach.
Studies show very good results using hypnotherapy for test anxiety, general fears and phobia including fear of flying and public speaking; and heightening for mental focus – sports mental training. Most people are aware that hypnosis has shown successful results with: stress management, stopping smoking permanently (smoking cessation) and weight loss. I have web pages on these topics; including under web menu tab: Specialties.
Medical Hypnosis is also referred to as Hypnotherapy. Hypnosis is not a substitute for medical treatment nor, psychotherapy.
Hypnosis has been used for centuries for pain control with great success. During the Civil War army surgeons hypnotized injured soldiers before receiving surgical amputations.
Physicians and psychologist refer their patients to hypnotherapists because hypnotherapy results have proven to be very beneficial for most people who desire change. People are often surprised to know that research studies in the US and abroad have found that hypnosis continues to be beneficial with: grief recovery, weaning off Rx narcotics, migraine headaches, sleep insomnia, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome, weight loss and permanent smoking cessation.
Remark: Some of my web testimonies include former clients sharing their hypnotherapy success with overcoming their symptoms and the cause of their pain from migraines and fibromyalgia.
Principal medical reasons physicians refer their patients: Depression, catastrophic conditions, pre and post-surgery (for anxiety control and pain management), diabetes protocol management, general stress and pregnancy stress management – pre and post childbirth and for remaining calm during delivery. Remark: when a person has been diagnosed with a condition, the hypnotherapist will ask for a medical clearance. This is easy to obtain from the medical practitioner.
The appeal that hypnosis has no adverse side effects has caused research clinicians in various fields to explore the use of hypnosis in a number of health studies.
Directly below are research outcomes from a study performed for the dedicated purpose of research comparisons and recovery results. Observe the huge lead found with hypnotherapy success outcomes. The 3 wellness categories: Hypnotherapy, 93%; Psychoanalysis, 38%; and Behavior Therapy, 72%. If interested, at the bottom of this page is a web link for learning more about this research study.
